On August 29, IT Home announced via Huawei’s official Weibo that their newest innovation, the “largest Mate in Huawei’s history,” the Huawei Smart Screen MateTV, will be launched on September 4 at 14:30. This release will coincide with the unveiling of the Huawei Mate XTs Extraordinary Masters series and other new products. Additionally, Huawei will introduce the Huawei MatePad Mini during the event.
Huawei Smart Screen MateTV will feature the HarmonyOS 5 operating system, marking the debut of the Honghu Vivid independent image quality chip. This TV will also include Lingxi suspended touch technology, allowing for multi-finger control with a transmission delay as low as 8ms.
With an ultra-thin design and an impressive 99% screen-to-body ratio, the MateTV boasts a body thickness of just 36.9mm, achieving a “zero wall sticking” effect. The system interface aligns seamlessly with Huawei’s mobile phones, tablets, and PCs, featuring the latest light field visual effect design system and supporting 4K UI. Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the high refresh rate support and 3D real-time rendering technology.
The TV also offers superior audio with HUAWEI SOUND 3.2.2 and a 7.1.4 star dome sound field. Moreover, the MateTV facilitates a seamless flow of applications across different devices, such as Hongmeng phones and tablets. For instance, users can effortlessly switch music playback from their phones to the TV just by approaching the smart screen in the living room.
