Make sure your iPhone has the latest iOS version (at least iOS 16) and is compatible with Joy-Cons. For iPads, ensure they have been updated to at least iPadOS 16.

Joy-Con in pairing mode

To put the Joy-Con in pairing mode, press and hold the black pairing button in the middle until the green indicator light starts moving back and forth.

Setting in Your Phone

On your iPhone or iPad, go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth". Scroll down to find your Joy-Con under "Other Devices." Depending on the Joy-Con you are pairing, it will be listed as either "Joy-Con (L)" or "Joy-Con (R)." Tap on the corresponding Joy-Con option to start the pairing process. If you have another Joy-Con to pair, repeat this step.
