The Fireplace Remote is designed for use with gas fireplaces, specifically those with millivolt gas valves. The receiver box acts as a dry contact switch and does not output any voltage. The remote has a 4-button interface for easy control of the fireplace, with options for ON/OFF/MODE/SET functions. The MODE button cycles control between manual and thermo mode, while the SET button adjusts the temperature in thermo mode.

The remote features a crystal clear LCD screen that displays the room temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. A flame icon appears when the fireplace is on, and a low battery indicator will display when the transmitter’s batteries are running low.

The thermostat feature allows the fireplace to operate whenever the room temperature swings 2 °F (1 °C) above or below the set temperature. The plug-in design of the receiver box includes 110V AC power and learn function, along with 18-inch wires with connectors that can learn up to two additional Skytech remotes. It also allows for manual control of the fireplace with On/Remote/Off settings.

The Fireplace Remote includes a transmitter remote, receiver box, wall clip, wires with connectors, batteries, and an instruction manual. Overall, it provides simple and convenient control of gas fireplaces with added thermostat functionality for precise temperature control.
