The Skytech CON remote control system is a safe and user-friendly remote control system for gas heating appliances. It operates on radio frequencies within a 20 ft. range and uses one of 255 security codes to ensure reliability. The system is battery-operated and can power an ON/OFF latching solenoid for gas valves used in gas logs, fireplaces, and other heating appliances. The transmitter operates on a 12V battery and has ON and OFF functions that are activated by pressing buttons on the transmitter. The receiver outputs up to 6.3 Volts of DC power to operate the latching solenoid. The system includes a transmitter, receiver, cover, wall clip, installation instructions, and batteries. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries for longer battery life and maximum operational performance. Upon initial use, there may be a three-second delay before the receiver responds to the transmitter. If the signal light on the transmitter does not illuminate, check the position of the battery. The Skytech CON remote control system is designed for latching solenoid gas valve systems and does not replace the Sky-1001-A system.
