On August 29, IT Home announced that Gaode Map, part of Alibaba Group, is now offering taxi services in Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Arab Emirates. This expansion includes major cities like Toronto, Dubai, and Auckland.
The press release highlighted Gaode Map’s collaboration with the global ride-hailing platform, Bolt. This partnership utilizes Gaode’s travel service model to provide taxi-hailing options in 28 countries where these services are available.
