Beijing Off-road is set to reveal the BJ30 Traveler, both the standard and a new seven-seat model, today at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show. The updated BJ30 Traveler primarily features modifications to its onboard technology, interior, and rims. It also offers a pre-sale starting price of 102,900 yuan.
Design and Dimensions
The BJ30 Traveler continues the brand’s iconic "square box" design, with distinctive ring-shaped headlights surrounded by a transparent shell, paired with a black front bumper and silver guardrail. The vehicle measures 4730mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1790mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820mm.
Engine Options
The vehicle is available in both fuel and hybrid variants. The fuel version is powered by a 1.5T engine paired with a 7DCT transmission. The hybrid version combines a 1.5T engine with an electric motor, reaching a maximum engine power of 116 kW and a peak torque of 235 Nm. The hybrid system can deliver up to 301 kW of combined power with a peak torque of 685 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.59 seconds and offering a fuel consumption rate of 6.45 liters per 100 km.
Off-road Capabilities
Designed for off-road adventures, the BJ30 Traveler boasts seven driving modes, including snow and sand. It features an energy mid-lock, four-wheel electronic limited slip, and an ATS all-terrain control system. Notably, the rear of the vehicle includes a "small schoolbag" storage space instead of a spare tire. The car rides on 19-inch rims with 235/60 R19 tires.
Interior and Technology
Inside, the car features a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster alongside a 14.6-inch central control screen, powered by a built-in 8155 chip. The vehicle comes with the Yueye Circle App, with future function updates promised through FOTA.
