Wi-Fi Router and Mesh Wi-Fi Deals: Fix Dead Zones for Less (November 2026)

guide · updated November 6, 2026

Before buying, work out your problem. If the signal is fine near the router but weak upstairs or in the garden, you need mesh. If everything is slow everywhere, a newer single router may be enough. Prices are on the cards.

One router for an apartment or small home

The TP-Link Archer AX21 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router with up to 1200 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It has about 25,000 ratings and is bought more than 10,000 times a month. You need a separate modem.

Mesh for larger homes

Mesh systems use several units that act as one network. Amazon's eero 6 router supports internet plans up to 900 Mbps, covers up to 1,500 sq. ft. per unit, and works with other eero hardware if you add more later. It also has a built-in smart home hub.

TP-Link's Deco S4 three-pack covers up to 5,500 square feet with one network name, two Ethernet ports per unit and built-in parental controls. It uses Wi-Fi 5, which is still enough for most streaming.

For Wi-Fi 6 mesh, the NETGEAR Orbi RBK752P pairs a router with one satellite for up to 5,000 sq. ft. and up to 75 devices, with three gigabit Ethernet ports on the router and two on the satellite.

If your phone and laptop support the 6 GHz band, the TP-Link Deco XE75 is a Wi-Fi 6E mesh unit with up to 2,900 sq. ft. of coverage and support for up to 200 devices. It works with other Deco units.

Wi-Fi 7 for multi-gig internet

Only worth it if your plan is faster than 1 Gbps and your devices support Wi-Fi 7. The TP-Link Archer BE700 is tri-band, with a 10 Gbps WAN port, a 2.5 Gbps LAN port and three 1 Gbps LAN ports, and it can join an EasyMesh network.

On cable internet: modem and router in one

If you rent a modem from your cable company, a combo can replace it. The NETGEAR Orbi CBK752 is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem router with Wi-Fi 6 and a mesh satellite, covering up to 5,000 sq ft. Check that it is supported by your provider first.
