EcoFlow vs BLUETTI vs Anker SOLIX: Portable Power Stations Compared

By the TechDeals editors · updated November 6, 2026 · how we pick deals

EcoFlow, BLUETTI and Anker SOLIX make most of the portable power stations sold in the US, and their 1 kWh and 2 kWh models are close on paper. All three now use LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries in their main ranges, charge from a wall socket in around an hour, and accept solar panels. The differences are in output, expandability, weight and app features, so start with what you want to power.

Size it in two numbers

Output (watts) is how much the station can run at once. Add up the running watts of everything that will be on together; appliances with motors, like fridges and pumps, also draw a brief surge when they start, so check the station's surge or peak rating. A typical home fridge runs at a few hundred watts and surges higher when its compressor starts; the label inside the door gives the exact figure.

Capacity (watt-hours, Wh) is how long it lasts. A 1,000 Wh station runs a 100 W load for roughly eight to nine hours once inverter losses are counted. Rough guide:

Why LFP matters

LFP cells last far more charge cycles than the NMC cells older stations used, and are more tolerant of being kept full and of heat. Manufacturers rate their LFP stations for 3,000 to 6,000+ cycles; independent research, such as the long-term work summarised by Physics World, shows LFP life also depends on how full the battery is kept and how deeply it is cycled. The trade-off is weight: LFP stations are heavier for the same capacity.

EcoFlow deals

The DELTA 3 Classic bundle includes a 220 W solar panel; the DELTA Pro is EcoFlow's expandable home-backup station with 3,600 W output. See all EcoFlow deals.

BLUETTI deals

The Elite 100 V2 is a 1 kWh station with 1,800 W output; the Elite 100 mini trades output for a lower weight. FridgePower is a slim 2 kWh station designed to sit beside a fridge. See all BLUETTI deals.

Anker SOLIX deals

The C2000 Gen 2 charges fully in under an hour from AC; the S2000 is built for home backup with a power strip. The C300 DC is a small 288 Wh unit for camping and devices. See all Anker deals.

FAQ

Is EcoFlow better than BLUETTI?

Neither is better overall. EcoFlow is strong on fast charging and large expandable systems; BLUETTI has a wide LFP range including fridge-focused models. Compare the specific model's output, capacity, weight and warranty.

Can a power station run a refrigerator?

Yes, if its output covers the fridge's starting surge and its capacity covers the hours you need. A 2,000 Wh station with 1,800 W or more output runs most kitchen fridges for many hours.

Can I use a power station indoors?

Yes. Unlike a gas generator, a battery power station produces no exhaust, so it is safe to run indoors. Keep it ventilated and away from water.
